Make sure you have a valid form of ID/passport and that it is not expired before you travel. The REAL ID will be required for air travel beginning May 7, 2025.
Baggage limits vary from airline to airline – please visit your carrier’s website for details. Pack smart: Travelers need to know what is in their carry-on bags and make sure there are no prohibited items inside before arriving at the checkpoint to avoid triggering an alarm and being asked to return to the screening line. » Parking & TransportIt is recommended that passengers arrive 2 hours prior to departure time. This provides adequate time to check luggage and go through TSA security checkpoint. All passengers must be at the boarding gate 15 minutes prior to departure or may be denied boarding. Please note, the airline check-in counters may close 45 minutes before departure.
The Transportation Security Administration website provides information on the security screening of passengers and baggage. Currently, TSA is open daily 3:45 am – 7:30 pm.
Please have valid ID, boarding pass, and allowed carry-on items ready prior to entering the security checkpoint. NO liquids over or equal to 3.4oz/100 ml is permitted through the checkpoint. The terminal does have water bottle refilling stations post security. No alcoholic beverages of any amount are allowed in carry-ons. Most food items are permitted. For wheelchair service and/or additional services needed for your air travel from the ticket counter through the security checkpoint, to/from the gate/aircraft, please pre-arrange these services directly with your air carrier.
